Home Sweet Home
We are learning about our local area this term, and as part of this our topic is Materials and Homes. To investigate this theme further 1CW took a walk around the local area taking a closer look at the homes they see everyday. There were plenty of different materials that the children were able to spot and identify. They also learned some vocabulary describing homes, such as 'terraced' or 'semi-detached'.
The children were looking out for clues which would tell them whether a home was old or new and we even saw some homes that Mrs. Keith's son had built!
