We had a fantastic start to our Plymouth week! The children came in dressed as explorers and they looked amazing. First we explored the environmental area and collected items we found to bring back to the classroom. Next we created a map to show where we explored.
After break we had a treasure hunt and found clues about a famous explorer. We learnt that it was Sir Francis Drake! We researched about his life and found he was born in Tavistock. He also played boules on Plymouth.
During the afternoon we played boules on the school field and had a great time.
