We were lucky enough to have the sun shining this morning so we went outside to investigate shadows. First we tried to make different shapes with our bodies. We then thought about the questions 'Does my shadow change throughout the day? We made a prediction. Some children thought it would be the same and others thought about our learning yesterday and remembered that the sun moves in the sky everyday so they predicted the shadows would move. We drew around our partner's shadow and can't wait until lunchtime to see the results...
We were amazed with the results. Our shadows had moved and were smaller!! We then noticed that the sun had moved in the sky!
