As a homework challenge this term the children had been supplied with a seed to grow at home in readiness for the Year 1 Plant and Flower Show.
They were also invited to grow or care for their own plants at home, or decorate a plant container.
Everyone who entered this year's Flower Show was awarded a certificate, and there were also prizes for each Class's Staff Award, Head Teacher's Award and Children's Choice, which everyone in the class voted for.
A big thank you to all those green fingered children who managed to provide something for the show, and to those parents who helped.
