Baby Face

A big ‘thank you’ to all the 1CW parents who sent in gorgeous baby photos of their children last week, as well as the completed questionnaires and written accounts.  These have really helped the children’s history work, where they have been learning about their own pasts, using a variety of different sources.

The children have been learning about how they have changed over time, and comparing themselves as babies, to what they are like now.  They were therefore delighted that Mrs Perrow-Smith, from FPS, was able to pay us a visit with the adorable baby Max!
Mrs Perrow-Smith shows us an ultrasound picture taken of Max before he was born.

Max shows us how he is trying to walk.
Prior to Max’s visit the children planned some questions that they wanted to ask Mrs Perrow-Smith about him, and were very interested in the answers.  Max himself was able to answer some of the questions; he demonstrated how he can walk when he is held, and even showed us his early talking skills!

We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting Max and the children behaved very gently and kindly with him.  We would like to thank Mrs Perrow-Smith, Max’s Granny and, of course, Max himself for taking the time to come and visit us.  We look forward to seeing him again soon and finding out how he is growing and developing.

Jack treats us to an impromptu performance of a song he made up for Max.
