Boat Making with 1CW
This week the children in 1CW were set a challenge to make a boat. They decided they needed their boat to float and to carry cargo. In order to find out what materials to use to make their boat, they carried out a floating and sinking investigation.
Then the children designed and made their own boats.
The children enjoyed testing their boats to see if they would float, and if they did, would they carry a load!
All the boats floated but unfortunately not all were able to carry a cargo and some sank or capsized!!!
1CW enjoyed their day which was very productive.
